Game Concept Design DKIT

For my final college project i had to create a playable prototype level using the Unreal Game Engine (UDK) that would work in conjunction with a main group project were a game was to be created. The game was called Ohpis Source. During this project various objects & assets from within the UDK editor were used as they had much higher detail than the objects i had created & tried to remain consistant with the look & feel of the environment that would reflect other levels that were being developed by the other members within the class group. The other assets, spikes, debris etc were created using 3DS Max, they were then imported & implemented into the level. Below are some screen images of the level from early stages to final outcome... The final draft was put on display at the FIS 13 multimedia exhibition earlier in june...

Latest Projects

For this project i had to create & model a game character for animation & create a level scene for the model to move through. The models & assets used in this scene were later used for the final playable level prototype in UDK also. Below are some images that were taken to demonstrate the development process of creating the character & the final scene in 3DS Max...

This was a project that was created midway through the second semester of college so that i could learn & display a basic knowledge of scene animation with 3DS Max & create a video from it by adding a camera to the scene. Below are some screen shots taken from the work on the scene...

This was the first major project that i had created in 3DS Max or working on anything 3D in general. It was one of the final projects to be completed at the end of the first semester in college. I based the concept on a room within a medievil style castle setting that would reflect drawings i had done for another project previous to this. Below are various images from the scene including work throughs to final outcome....

This next piece of work is from a group project that with created with other class members using 2D game making software Construct 2. I didn't do any of the coding for the scenes within the game, that was left to the other guys in the group but i did create most of the vectorised artwork, assets, character & background images that would be used for the final prototype, I created each of the graphics & images using Flash CS3. The name of the game prototype is called Penguin Panic...
